Privacy Policy
Set is built with a simple privacy principle: your training data belongs to you. We collect as little as possible and store everything on your device first.
Data Storage
All workout data, lift records, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your phone unless you choose to enable iCloud sync.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. This syncs data across your own devices signed into the same Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple's privacy practices govern iCloud storage.
Permissions
Set requests the following permissions, only when you use features that require them:
- Camera — Used for OCR scanning of whiteboards and workout programming photos. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded or stored beyond the scanning session.
- Photo Library — Used to import photos for OCR processing. Selected photos are processed on-device only.
- Microphone — Used for voice dictation when logging workouts. Audio is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition.
- Speech Recognition — Used to convert voice input to text for workout logging. Processing is handled by Apple's speech framework.
Analytics & Tracking
Set does not use any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or behavioral analytics. There are no third-party services integrated into the app.
Accounts
Set does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or authentication process. Your identity is never collected.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. Period.
Children's Privacy
Set does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not collect personal information from any user.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time using the full reset option in the app's Settings. This permanently removes all local data. If you use iCloud sync, you can manage your iCloud data through your device's iCloud settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
